Names are fun. It would be fun to make one up. Maybe you should wait
til you get her home or maybe not. Our little Benji came with her name...
she had had it over 4 years and responded to it so well that we decided
not to change it. Every time I called another name she looked around
for another dog <G>
It will be fun. Let us know what names you are thinking. I like
Preeka too... I don't think you would do any harm using it.

Yes names! - I want it to be just 'her' or close. Any ideas are welcome.
I do want to avoid all common Chi names. I'm even thinking of making one up -
like a friend's niece's name - Preeka ~ kind of reminds you of Paprika. Not
sure I should use that one but its tempting as we don't know the girl & my
friend passed away this year.

Yes the rescue try went flat. We were rejected because we have birds.
My disappointment was deep and heavy. They didn't even come over for
the house visit - just an email. That was one rescue. The Chi Recue
was friendlier but they didn't have one that filled our requirements.
I know I could wait until the Chi Rescue gets one I want. The point
is I have time right now to train and settle a new dog.
I started looking at ads. I was looking at 1 year olds - after a few
phone calls and no follow-up photos sent my way I spotted a pup. - hope
these photos show up....

She is on Iams right now. She is 11 weeks old & still 2lbs 12oz. She
is getting her last shots this week & I pick her up on Saturday.
Questions
How to start a Raw diet when she gets home?
Could I start a Dry-raw diet?
Has anyone used the washable 'grass' pee-pad?
Am I nuts? - please be gentle....LOL
