This is so sad... and it is cold and rainy outside too! I hope that some one has found her, and of course returns her. The only way the chip will work is if they ask a Vet to check her for one, or turn her into a shelter, which considering all the talk about the Hempstead shelter lately, I hope she is not their.
A couple of days ago, I remember seeing a post on Craigs list that some one found a Chi. I don't know if it is the same dog or not. It seems to me that their has been a lot of missing small dog breeds on LI all summer...too many!
