Years ago I had a 6lb poodle that at the age of 2.5 started seizing. I was working for a Vet at the time. He said as long as they stay short and do not increase in frequency he would avoid Phenobarb. He said once you start them on it, its forever. She lived her life 15 yrs with no medication. Hers seemed to increase when the house got stressful....holidays, birthdays. Just make sure she is on the ground and cannot fall off anything and with Pandee she would sleep after. Would wake a bit dopey and then within a day be herself.
