So sorry to hear this Carol...but glad you took the poor baby in...My cats are ALL rescues...some have been neglected and abused...not here...at my house they are treated like babies! They are MY babies...I have 3 Chihuahuas...I love them all very much...”Sox” is my special little boy...my shadow...I couldn’t imagine my life without my “babies”...I honestly don’t think I would want to live. Recently some idiot landlord in the neighborhood threw out 5 cats that he had kept locked in a house where he evicted the people...they moved out and left the cats. Apparently he wasn’t feeding them...probably no water either...3 of them came to my house...the one I turned over to a rescue group because he need to be seen by a vet...he was in bad shape...one is still here living outside with the other cats people keep dumping here...I feed them and keep water out for them constantly. I nursed this one back to health...when he came here you could see his ribs and spine...now he’s fat and healthy . I try to find the cats that are dumped here....good homes. I can’t bring any more in the house....but we have two dog igloos and a homemade cat house outside with fresh straw in them. I HATE to see them out in the could...it gets me so upset. I don’t know how people can be so cruel...to animals AND other people! Makes me sick though. Where are you in Ohio if you don’t mind me asking? I live in Ohio too...take care...and God bless you and your little ones...and ALL the abandoned~ homeless~abused animals...and people....Sharon
