I have a Jack Russel that gets the "head tilt" sometimes. He gets ear
infections
somethings. When the infection would flare up, his head would tilt. We have to
clean his ears every week and when he got the ear infections we had to give him
antibiotics. He hasn't had an ear infection in about a year now as we keep his
ears very clean.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Head tilt??

I met a lady today that runs a small breed rescue. She showed me some of her
dogs and one of them had what she called "head-tilt"...to me it seemed there
was
something really bothering the inner ear. Does anyone know what this is...how
it
happens and what can be done about it? Is it common? She says it is very common
in small dogs...pugs...bostons etc and I want to know more about it.
