I don't like doggy smell either and the dogs enjoy it. They get one on one attention from me. I sing to them. I play with them and dry them with "fresh from the dryer" towels. I also feed them Halo Dreamcoat daily as a supplement so their coats are nice and glossy/shiny. I worried about bathing too frequently but seems like it's okay, huh? Laura

Saturday is grooming day. I use to use a shampoo from Pet Edge...it smells so good but my gallon just ran out so I am going with Minkshine that has a conditioner built in..on the pricey side but it lasts a LONG time. Everyone sleeps with me so they have to be sparklie clean! I have NEVER had an issue with dry skin or itching...my hubby does not like doggie smell...and frankly neither do I. Every bed and blanket gets washed on grooming day as well! I can't remember the name of the shampoo right now and I'm out of town but I know its for sensitive skin. I also have dog wipes to wipe him down if I need to and conditioning spray which makes him smell good for a little while. He's always really soft after a bath.
