Nootie. It comes with a spritz that smells just like the shampoo so you can
spray that on them when they need it. I buy it rom Amazon.

Deanna, I bathe every other week and wash bedding every week. I don't like
doggy smell either and the dogs enjoy it. They get one on one attention
from me. I sing to them. I play with them and dry them with "fresh from
the dryer" towels. I also feed them Halo Dreamcoat daily as a supplement so
their coats are nice and glossy/shiny. I worried about bathing too
frequently but seems like it's okay, huh?

Hi Peggy,
I bathe my whole gang once a week. Saturday is grooming day. I use to use a
shampoo from Pet Edge...it smells so good but my gallon just ran out so I am
going with Minkshine that has a conditioner built in..on the pricey side but
it lasts a LONG time. Everyone sleeps with me so they have to be sparklie
clean! I have NEVER had an issue with dry skin or itching...my hubby does
not like doggie smell...and frankly neither do I. I feel like keeping
everyone clean is the least I can do since he lets me have so many LOL! and
..I REALLY enjoy grooming day! I think feeding raw is what keeps everyone's
skin balanced and not itchy. Everyone's teeth get done every night before
bed too. It is so much a routine now it would feel so weird not doing it..
been 15 years of the same routine and I guess it's hard to teach old dogs
new tricks. Every bed and blanket gets washed on grooming day as well!

I bathe Monster whenever he smells or starts feeling dirty which isn't very
often, maybe every couple months and he usually goes all winter without a
bath. I can't remember the name of the shampoo right now and I'm out of town
but I know its for sensitive skin. I also have dog wipes to wipe him down if
I need to and conditioning spray which makes him smell good for a little
while. He's always really soft after a bath.

Since Chi's are suppose to have a natural oily shine to their fur, I was
wondering what brand of shampoo do most of you use?

Has anyone found that any particular shampoos tend to remove that shine
(natural oil) from their Chi?

How often do most of you shampoo your Chi's?
