When I am gone, my dogs are in their area on tile floor.Desi will use the puppy pads, but Dolly holds it until I get home.
Desi - who was marking like crazy when he was a puppy and he still has the habit of marking the toys that he wants (not sure because I have never seen him play with a toy that he marked on!). I had started to treat both Dolly & Desi as equals. So, Dolly who was the alpha started marking over where Desi had previously marked to show that she is the alpha. I have since learned the error of my ways, and praise Dolly up and down when she uses the puppy pad. So.are your dogs each marking to claim title of Alpha? I have a sample of some new cleaner for stains on carpets.it works with CO2. I haven't used it yet, but it is supposed to be able to get rid of the uric acid that remains after the other cleaners and thus the dogs can still smell the scent of urine and will mark over it. I haven't felt too good today and will try to test it on a couple of stains tomorrow. It is called Fizzion.anyone heard of it, or used it? Johnny is 2 years old and Pedro is 1 year. They are my babies!!! Both dogs trained to go on potty pads because my fiance and I are gone for work long hours. But both dogs seem to have "accidents" on the carpet frequently. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop these "accidents" from happening? I can't be home all the time to take them to the pad to go potty and reward them. This is ruining my carpet and putting a strain on my relationship with my fiance. Thanks!
