Don't give them the run of the house. Buy an X pen, put the dogs in it when you are going to be gone. Set it up in an uncarpeted area, put the pads and their water along with a few toys in the pen with the them. Or you can buy a gate for your bathroom door and put them in the bathroom, with the pads, while your are gone. Gloria
