That is what I meant. She was talking about flea meds then just slipped the
heartworm not being a big risk in her area and it has nothing to do with
fleas  LOL I am a detail person. So the paragraph was confusing for me.
Just asking for clarification from Her.  It was not meant to be anything but
a general question

They don't put them on heartworm meds for fleas anyway do they?  Or did you
just throw that statement in there?  Confused here

We had some fleas on my neighbor's lawns last summer - so if Abbey was over
there I would look every where on her skin to see if I could see anything
which since she has black hair it was hard. I only saw one once and I just
gave her a warm bath and it just fell into the water. But to be safe I used
the little metal comb and went through her hair to make sure no eggs. We do
not have the problems in N. Calif like they do in the south - most vets here
do not put dogs on heartworm here unless we travel or go camping.
