Heeeheeee…I think this could be another one of those messages that could be
misunderstood…

“You shouldn’t pull the dog!” LOL, just couldn’t help myself.

I keep thinking I should just go get him...I don't want to foster but maybe I
will just go pull him...Gina do you know his size?

He REALLY needs a home or a foster!!

1/23: Skipper has a sponsor! We have $100 to cover his pull and vetting! Please
keep sharing him! We also have someone willing to take him in but she can't
until March 1st so if anyone could foster him for about 5 weeks, that would be
amazing too!

Skipper was turned in as a stray. He has a microchip and through that we
discovered that Skipper's dad had passed away and his step daughter dumped
Skipper at the pound. We got a hold of the man's wife and she said she would
come for Skipper but she didn't and now the phone number is out of service. So
poor Skipper has been unavailable and waiting for his people for almost a
month, but we've given up on them. Skipper hides under his blanket a lot and
seems sad but he is still so very sweet. He is very quiet and loves to cuddle!
He gets along with all of his kennel mates too.

SKIPPER - ID#A014800
My name is SKIPPER.
I am a male, white Chihuahua - Smooth Coated.
The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
I am a quiet little boy and I love to snuggle under my blankets.
I get along with other dogs and would love to be your best friend for life!
I have been at the shelter since Dec 21, 2010.

To become an approved rescue, just fax your 501(c)(3) paperwork to the shelter
with a note stating who is allowed to pull.

If you live outside the area and are interested in adopting, you must contact a
rescue to help you, I can provide the contact info for some local ones.
Unfortunately, we simply do not have the resources to facilitate out of area
adoptions.
