Pure pumpkin.you cannot use the one that has the spices in it.

Be sure to not feed her anything that can be constipating. A neighbor gave
Dolly some cheese dog treats for her birthday. I used to give Dolly one
before I went out. Then I bought her the Star Spinner for Christmas and to
get her to play with it, I was putting one or two of the cheese treats in
it. She started being so constipated. I made sure that she drank enough
and then fed her some Science Diet lowfat canned food mixed with some
pumpkin and pedialyte. She started to poop more normally after a couple of
days. It really doesn't take much of something that can constipate to
constipate a tiny Chihuahua. My vet said not to use oil.sometimes the
animal can aspirate with oil. Until she is going better, you might just
want to feed her canned food mixed with water or a little Pedialyte (and
pure pumpkin if you have it.)

Good luck!

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Miss Sadie

Been a long time since I have been here, lots of cute pics. I was curious if
anyone can help me with a problem with Sadie, I had her at the vets
yesterday cause she was not acting normal, wouldnt let me pick her up with
out whinning. Anyway after a check up and a xray it showed that she was all
bounded up. After numerous enemmas and shot for pain we got to bring her
home. She used to eat strickly puppy chow but after I had her spade (after a
pregnancy that went horribly wrong) she started to beg for human food which
I caved in and now I know it was a mistake. So the question is what is a
good way to make sure this doesnt happen again. I heard olive oil, pumkin
pie but she wont have nothing to do with that, thanks in advance....
