Wow Gloria, only 8 ounces at 8 weeks? That is so tiny! How much did he weigh at birth?

I have found that breeders can only give an educated guess on the size and weight of a Chi puppy at maturity. Emiliano was tiny, weighed a half of a pound at 8 weeks, I was told by the breeder that he would weigh 3 lbs at maturity and the vet agreed that it looked that way. Now, at 2 yrs, he weighs 5 lbs 12 oz and is a solid little guy without any fat. Gloria
