But what a blessing that you had 45 years with a man that you adored and loved. I do not think that maybe 1% of all marriages end like yours. You have so many memories that you will always have, I know that does not take away the pain, but what a blessing that you had for 45 years! I wish I knew you secret or how you did it because I know that it is work as love is a verb and you both have to give 100%.  I think I saw a picture of you and your husband and you both still had that sparkle. Bless you Gloria.

Gloria,
I think the unexpected death of  your hubby after 45 years is one of the worse things
I can think of to happy.   HUGS
Like you, I give thanks for all my blessings, of course there are sorrows and unhappinesses
but my blessings are greater and again, like you, I think of everyone and add my prayers
for their well being and the well being of their families and their little furbabies...   big ones too...

     hugs...  mj and benjigirl too

What would be the odds that in such a small group (those of us who are active participants) there would be that many who have gone and/or are still going through such personal pain.  I have no such stories, except for the unexpected death of my husband of 45 years, and I have always known that I am blessed. Yet,  I am a compassionate person  who prays for those in need of prayer each night, when I give my thanks. Hugs to all of you.

Gloria
