wise words, my friend.    our family is that way too.    open arms, open heart and always saying I LOVE YOU....    I remember when I started telling my Mom that over the phone....   (I guess growing up we weren't so demonstrative)...  but she was silent...  then a very quiet    i love you too....   after that it was all the time.    She was probably in her 80s at that time and I was an adult with children..    anyway, it is a wonderful thing...    I know when either Joell or I leave the house..  it's a kiss and I love you...  same thing before we go to sleep at night...   sigh...   not silly, not to show off, but you know.. just because......

my thoughts, just before signing off.    hugs everyone  mj

My husband and I and our children, always said "I love you" when we parted or when we ended a telephone conversation or email.  The night before my husband died, he called to tell me he was ready for his tests in the morning, I told him not to be scared because we were going to be with him, he replied "I know, I really just called to tell you I love you very, very much", his last words to me. At 6:14 am the hospital called to say he had arrested.  So, if you live your lives with love and share that love with each other,k there's never a regret about not having said want needed to be said.
