No, I bought it at Petco. It is expensive. $30.00 for the bottle but it last
for a year and it is really working.

I didn't think that your dog would smell. I mentioned that Gigi smelled
from living on newspapers and never being bathed, she was a BYB dog that I
rescued.

Maybe you could try the Liperderm to see if that cuts back on the shedding.
I know I see a difference with both of mine since they have been on it for
the past few weeks. It has all the extra Omega oils in it. I buy the
capsules. Princess won't eat her food with it on, so I have to down her a
pill. With Gigi I break open the capsule and mix it into her food, she eats
anything, lol

What is considered 'often' for bathing a chi? I read some where that since
they have natural oils to their skin, more so then a lot of other breeds,
they are not suppose to be bathed monthly, but only a couple of times a year
I never was sure if that was true or not. With Gigi, she looked like she
hadn't been bathed in a year.
Her tummy skin was actually black from living on newspapers, and it took 3
baths to get rid of that awful doggie odor. Now I have been working on the
dry skin, which is finally getting less and less.

Dolly just has to sit on me for two minutes and little blond hairs all over
the place.
Don’t be upset…I wish that Dolly wouldn’t shed so much. Do you bathe them
often? If so, maybe the dead hairs come out during their baths.

Ok...I am a little worried now. Both Mouse and Myrtle are short haired and
neither shed much at all. They do get brushed with a boar bristle brush in
the mornings but hardly any hair comes out...I am a little worried!
