MJ, the vet said I could board him but I don't like the idea of him being in a
cage... He will be staying with my fiancé at our apartment and he usually just
lays around and sleeps when I'm not there. My fiancé usually can't get him to
play or anything so I don't think keeping him still will be a problem. If he
does get worse, my fiancé can take him to the vet. He's really good with him. I
just hate leaving when he's not feeling well...

Lorena, That really is good news that Monster is feeling some better and that
the vet really doesn't think it will come to surgery. That is very good to
hear.
Glad the meds helped last night and hope all will be well while you are away.

Just wondering, seeing how Monster is having problems would the vet consider
keeping him while you are gone? He certainly would be kept quiet and could be
checked frequently.. Just a thought...... maybe something consider or
maybe not...

hugs, mj, benjigirl and Tilly too

Well, the vet thinks its a problem with a disk in his back. He gave me some
pain
meds and told me not to let him move around a lot for a few weeks... Monster
seems a tiny bit better today. I think the meds from last night helped. The vet
said if he gets worse he may need surgery. But he doesn't think it'll come to
that. I'm taking him back to the vet on Thursday so they can see if he's
getting
better. I leave Friday for Minnesota. Now I'm even more worried about leaving
him then I was before...
