Smidgen had that happen when she was around 2 or 3, just cried and we couldn't find anything wrong so they exrayed her and said it was her disk. I think they gave her some steroids and pain meds for her. she has been fine since. Little Chassis did that not long ago and it ended up being her anal glands were full..? I sure wish they could talk and tell us what hurts them.. My ex has my Jack russell, she was acting strange this weekend. She is 15. He said she wasnt eating or drinking. then the second day he said she just came and laid on his face and kept looking at him.. He thought he was going to have to put her down. They did blood work and it all came back ok. Found out she had a couple bad teeth.

Well, Monster doesn't have a blockage and they think its disks in his back again... I held him for a little while and he's not doing any better. He's still in a lot of pain... He's staying over night again. I'm not gonna go on my trip. I want to be here in case anything happens... Lorena

Thanks everyone for all the support and prayers. I really appreciate it. I'll let you know what's gonna happen. I'm gonna go be with him as soon as I'm done with class at 2. We should know something by 3... Lorena

AWWWW, poor little Monster. I really hope your vet/s can get diagnose the source of his pain and soon. It hurts us so much when our babies are hurting.

I really hope that's what it is Joan... This morning I had taken him out and when I went to pick him up he hollered before I even touched him. And he was hollering a lot when the vets were messing with him... Lorena

Ohhhhh..poor Monster! In one of your first emails about him screeching in pain, it reminded me so much of when Dolly had the blockage (of rocks) in her intestines. Please keep us posted.
The tests didn't show anything but they did another x-ray and it showed that his intestines are really thick so he may have a blockage or something else with his intestines. They're keeping him over night and giving him fluids, pain meds, and other meds since he's not eating now and he's in more pain. They'll probably run a dye through him and see if its a blockage then we'll go from there... I feel so bad for him and I wish I could be with him...

Well guys, I'm back at the vet with Monster. He seems to be worse today. They're running a bunch of tests...

Lorena: Hope Monster feels better and doesn't need surgery. I have bulging discs and it is very painful. Hugs, Linda and Taylor --- On Mon, 3/7/11, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote:

I will try, Gloria, I will try hard... He's already doing better. He's walking around the house some but I'm trying to keep him still. He wants to follow me everywhere. I'm not sure if he should be walking around or not. The vet said not to let him play or run around. I've been carrying him outside to go potty and I think he's getting a little tired of being carried around. He backs up when I reach for him now. Its funny, for a dog that wants me to hold him all the time, now its too much. Lol

Lets hope the meds work and that he'll soon be pain free. While on your trip, I know it won't be easy, but try not to worry.
