I'm thinking that he will go to sleep and sleep through the night.... Also, they will give him meds to sooth and comfort him....

They don't have anyone there overnight but someone comes and checks on them around 9 or 10... The hardest thing for me is him being in a cage alone all night... Does the vet have someone on duty all night? When Emiliano was a baby and got so sick that he was put into intensive care, my vet only took care of him during regular business hours, and I had to go get him and transport him in a carrier that looked like a baby incubator to the emergency hospital where they had vets and vet techs all night. The two nights that I had to do this, they allowed me to sit by him until 10 or 11 pm, when I would go home to sleep and then return to pick him up and take him back to my vet at 7 am the next morning. It wasn't easy for this old lady but it made me feel somewhat better sitting by him and softly talking to him part of the night. Gloria
