Mare, I am shocked! Why in the world would you recommend subcutaneous
fluids to a novice pet owner?? That should only be administered by a Vet or
a professional who knows how much and how to administer it. The average pet
owner who has no idea about such a treatment could kill their puppy by
trying it.

If he develops hypoglycemia it could be fatal. You should at the least give
him NutriCal and preferably Lactated Ringer's by sub Q.

I can not believe the vet said to take his food away, it is imperative that
