Thank you everyone.. At work today, but still feeling crummy. Smidge got some meds for her cough. She is doing better but still not 100%
I spoke with my ex, and he wants to see if little Vida would be happy with him. So I have decided to let her go. I told him if she doesn't work out, or doesn't bond with him, she always can come back to me.  I was going to rescue another one that is in the shelter, infact today is the day I am supose to go get her, but I am pulling my name from the list. I was 1st on the list to get her. This was not through the rescue group, but going through the shelter, and paying the adoption fee's along with the spay fee's.  I don't want to bring another one home and have it catch the kennel cough. There are several people on the list that want her, so she will get out today for sure.  I will wait and see how Vida does before I do another rescue, as I am broke now from her rescue.

Sorry to hear that you and Smidgen are under the weather.   That's a shame.
Hope you get to go home and rest.   I'll be thinking about you both.

Glad to hear that little Vida is doing so well...  it's her turn to take care of you, I guess.
