Hi Gloria, I am so glad that you are okay!! Yes, prayers are being sent for
rain, and for all the families that have lost so much. I hope the Good Lord
continues to keep you and all your loved ones safe. I wish I knew a way to
send the rain that we have had on and off. It is just the opposite here, it
has been humid and foggy and cold all week. Guess that is a blessing in
disguise, to keep everything from drying out.

Does it help people to keep their property soaked, by constantly using their
water sprinklers to avoid the ground from drying out to much when they know
that the fires are getting to close?

Peggy

Hi Peggy, I had answered your earlier post, don't know why it hasn't shown
up. I am fine. The fire on the outskirts of Austin, burned 11 houses and
damaged many others. The houses were on scenic lots, on hills, with lots of
trees. The fires in other parts of Texas continue, its just been so dry and
the areas that are wooded with trees and shrubs are more at risk when fires
develop. I have been doing rain dances and ask you to join me - seriously,
we need prayers for rain in Texas.

Gloria

Hi Gloria! Are you all right? I just heard that the fires are now spreading
towards Austin and immediately thought of you. How so very awful and scary!
I hope you post and let us know how you are doing, and give updates as to
how things are there.

Peggy
