LOL, We are too much alike! When I was married for 20 years, my ex husband didn't snore or hog the bed, It was a shock when I first started dating my bf, I tried to sleep with him. I would get up around 3 when he really started howling. I felt tired all the time. When I bought my house and he moved in with me, I was a bit resentful in the beginning, cause I had to get up and leave the master bedroom. But now I am over it. I had bought the queen bed set when I bought the house, but then he moved in and bought the king bed. I had the little double bed in the spare room, and that was okay, but with Ori in the bed I couldnt even roll over! So last couple nights have been great!! I don't know how those folks did with the 20 chi's! That's just crazy. How can you give each one the attention they crave when you have that many..? I am very happy with my 4. My bf says I am a good mama!! LOL He should know he is the biggest of the dogs, I guess I should say I have 5. Lynn you just need to show up with one, then your hubby will fall in love too. I am telling you from experience!! My ex husband didn't grow up with animals. He loved Smidgen and Chassis so much, I think he was more upset about them leaving then me. He kept my jack Russell, I knew when I left she would be better off with him at the house she knew. His mom got Chihuahua's because of seeing sweet Smidge and Chassis almost every weekend. & my bf now, he wasn't a small dog guy at all..He is this muscle man tough guy, but he loves his Danigirl, and Ori really has got close to him too. So I think you should just bring one home... Ori is such a sweet and smart dog. We put a doggie door in the slider over the weekend, & Ori went right through it. He has had some professional training. Dani see him go through it, but won't. I worked with her with some treats, and even Ori was there showing her. He would poke his head through it, and she just sat there.. I am hoping the bell goes off in her head soon..LOL If I hold the flap she will come through it.. Beth

THE SNORING!!! For years we have been playing musical beds too, except the subject is not very musical. I wish I had a tape recorder, because I would love for my hubby to hear what I go through (he thinks I'm exaggerating, ha!) If he had just one sound I might have adjusted, but he has about 6 different sounds that change by the moment and increases and decreases in crescendo. One day I went out and bought a new beautiful bedroom set (sleigh style too) and he was shocked when he came home, saw it, asked who it was for, and I said sweetly, "one of us." That's when he knew I was dead serious about the noise levels and the lack of sleep I was getting. Then I began sleeping, too, with animals, (ha), our dog and 2 cats and getting the most restful sleep, ever, in my married life. Now we don't even pretend I'll adjust to the snoring, it's just our two cats and myself in one bed, him in the other, the quiet is HEAVEN, but adding a little Chihuahua to my mix would be NO TROUBLE AT ALL! When I had the little chi I babysat for 2 years ago, she slept with us too and never moved a muscle or made a peep unless I got up in the night (so cute!) They don't make a sound....unlike the men we know. LOL 20 Chihuahuas!!!! Who could afford that?! Lynn In a message dated 4/19/2011 6:46:55 P.M. So I have 4 dogs in bed with me in a double bed!! I have a new queen bed in my storage shed, thinking I may swap the double out for the queen. Just makes for a tight fit in that room..The bed is a Mission style slay bed I bought 3 years ago for the master bedroom, when I first bought the house. Since my BF moved in we bought a king size bed, turns out I can't sleep with him cause he snores so bad and thrashes all around. I get a much better night sleep with 4 dogs in bed with me!! Its a funny senerio. We all start out in the master bedroom. I watch tv for about a half hour, or until the BF starts snoring so loud I can't hear the tv. Then I gather everyone and head to the other room. When I first got Smidge and was looking to find her a husband, I went and met a couple down in Hemet. They had over 20 Chihuahua's ! & each one of them slept with half the dogs! So each one had over 10 dogs in bed with them.. I am at my limit with 4..LOL Beth
