I never had a issue with Emiliano chewing. When he was in his chewing stage, I kept him in a X pen when I was gone, with plenty of chew toys. I didn't leave him out on his own, until he was over that stage and even now he does not have access to all parts of the house but only to the den (his room) which has all of his toys, he food, his water, and his litter box..
