If I keep the door close it is OK. They just ended the show at 6th & Kipling, but that is way south of me. Most of what I hear are in the neighborhood, which is actually illegal in the city.
I am surprise to hear that they are even allowing any in Texas with all of the wild fires. Colorado has a few wild fires going in in the mountains and along the NM border but the only bans I know of are in the cities (but you can still sell them). Dolly & Desi were both barking, but Desi was so scared that when I walked by the recliner chair he jumped up on me so fast and was so scared…I thought he was the one that could tolerate anything. I don’t know if there are any organized fireworks shows tonight…I am hoping not. We are having a pretty strong wind right now and now that I look towards the window, I see that it is starting to rain a little too. I’ve not been having the best of pain free the last several days. I have some pretty severe muscle spasms that started on Friday around my hip, then the next day it was up from the hip until about waist level, and then today it is from my hip going down the leg, across my lower back and then some in the waistline area. I went to church then took my meds, an hour later I was in bed taking a siesta. I slept for four hours and now I am going to try to stay up until it is time for meds again. So, I really hope that there are no fireworks tonight, and if so, that I can just sit in the chair with Dolly & Desi and calm them and not strain my muscles.
