OH BETH!! PLEASE accept my deepest condolesnces... I am TERRIBLY sorry!! I'm at work, and I'm in tears as I read this!! I can't IMAGINE!! They are so fragile because they are so tiny as it is... but I can't imagine all the suffering she went through.. Lots of love and hugs to you sweety!! :*(

Last night was an awful night. As you all know I took Smidge to the vet in the am. They did the blood test and treated her for her symptoms. I took her home and got her all comfy. Went too work, then came back at my lunch break an hour and a half later. She was about the same when I had left. On my way home stopped at the grocery store to get some baby food, as the doc said to give her some in the evening. Well when I walked in the door, there was blood all over in her pen! I freaked.. It smelled awful.. I called my bf, and he headed home. Called the vet and they were waiting for me.. I did know she wasn't coming back alive. I knew she was in terrible pain, and I felt guilty for her being alone for the rest of the day. She didn't want to die, they had to give her two 3 injections, 1 tranquilizer and 2 of the injection that stop the heart. She lived almost 5 minutes after the last shot. We brought her home and buried her last night. I will order her grave stone today... Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers. It is a great comfort knowing their are other Chi parents out there knowing the love and loss of one of these special babies.. Beth
