Brilliant idea!!!
 
I've been using a gel that I put in a spray bottle.  When my little guy 
starts growling and yapping in protest I give it  a  quick shot and it gets in 
his mouth. They said you don't have to rub this on  their teeth. I also have 
a child's rotating brush that I sometimes use.  Basically its a struggle 
with this dog. My other guy likes anything that  resembles food.
