I do the Petzlife with Dolly & Desi. I just put some on my index finger and they let me rub it in their mouths. When they were teething I used to rub their gums and so I think that they feel comfort. I am going to do the Petzlife Gel with a finger toothbrush and then introduce the toothpaste with the fingertip toothbrush a few times a week. I think that by me doing it when we are sitting watching TV at night they accept it more than if I take them into the bathroom.

She would actually pull back her lips and let me brush her teeth like a human! My Chis hate it. They all chew bully sticks so the back teeth look good, just the canine teeth look bad. When my little guy starts growling and yapping in protest I give it a quick shot and it gets in his mouth. They said you don't have to rub this on their teeth. I also have a child's rotating brush that I sometimes use. Basically its a struggle with this dog. My other guy likes anything that resembles food.
