The only raw food my dogs have eaten is fruits and veggies. This all being said, having Chihuahuas live to well over 20 years old in good health is not unusual for us. So whatever I am feeding obviously "works" for my dogs. However if someone else feels feeding a raw meat diet is best for their dogs, that's fine for them - just as long as their dogs thrive. The big problem with these discussions on "what to feed" is that the discussions often lead to over zealous passions concerning a specific way of doing things. Those passions then are often accompanied by an unacceptance that other ways can be just as "right". Nevertheless, more than one approach to "what to feed" may be "the right way". Liz
