I ordered some candy cane shaped red, green, and tan bones. Dolly & Desi had one for a little while over the weekend. They are not rawhide but some sort of compressed material. Dolly would chew off a little bit and then chew it like food. Desi…he did too, but that isn’t a news flash because he will eat anything that he can get his little paws on.

My vet mentioned giving my chi’s raw chicken necks and wings to help clean their teeth. Okay, is that safe? I worry about broken sharp points on the bones. I’ve always gotten big beef bones for them to chew on, but they could not break the bones.
