There is a herbal remedy you could try called "Composure" that seems to help our daughter's Chi who is pretty much afraid of the world. Maybe is you gave this regularly it would prevent his panic attacks? Melatonin might be worth a try also. Does the Valium help? Just like with people, different dogs react differently to certain meds. Ace Promazine might be another option for when he is in a panic? JMHO, Sue
