Go for it. Being a puppy she will fit in.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] New to the group-new chi maybe?

Hi everyone....I'm not new to the animal world (currently have 2 small dogs,
3 indoor cats, 4 indoor bunnies and 6 birdies) and work at my local
veterinarian's office. I have been given the opportunity to adopt the CHI of
my dreams - a baby - 8 weeks old and I'm a little nervous. All the animals
currently in my home get along splendidly - we have no aggression issues of
any kind - all friendly all living harmoniously (3 cats and 2 dogs in bed
with me at night...it's pretty awesome).
So...I have done much research over the years - but have never been in a
positon to get that chi I've always wanted. I have now been given that
opportunity. I'm a little concerned about her getting along with my other
dogs - as I keep reading they get along better with their 'own kind'. My
current doggies are small (13 & 18 pounds -one is a poodle mix - sweet,
hyper and happy go lucky, the other a pug mix - couch potatoe, low
maintenance and very sweet). I don't want to upset the apple cart - and I
know there are no guarantees - but I have good pets - I train and raise them
well - I have pet sitters for when I work - my pets are my life - I don't do
vacations or long trips.
May I get your thoughts? recommendations? suggestions?
I'm meeting this little one Wed night - if all goes well then she'll be
coming home with me.
THANK YOU...Lynda/Pittsburgh
