Thank you Lynda, I am thinking instead of the insurance, is to just put a little away each pay check in a vet fund. I was worried that about insurance not covering when it would be needed. Beth

Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Pet Insurance ?

Hi Beth, we have a few people who have insurance on their pets. I had it and cancelled it-fought every claim (and I bought the insurance on my Liza when she was 8 weeks old). I agree; however, it's personal preference, but none of the people I know personally have it.

I am not sure if this subject has been discussed here? I don't always see
all the post:
Most of you know I lost Smidgen in September from heart failure. She was
diagnosed with it shortly after I rescued Vida in March.
I didn't have any pet insurance for her or Chassis all these years, Just
always paid what the vet charged for there yearly shots, teeth, check ups etc..
From then until now I have spent over $ 2000.00. Part of it was on Chassis
shots and teeth cleaning in March.

I want to see if it is worth it to get Insurance?
Do any of you have it? If you do with who? & what does it cover?
So confused about what is covered?
Any help would be appreciated on the subject...

Beth
