We have a huge colony of Quaker parrots here.  They build their "condos" on 
transformers or light poles.  I just got home from the grocery store and three 
beautiful ones were on the ground drinking from a puddle of water (the yardman 
had apparently watered some flowers in a bed at the shopping strip).
