The HOA business must really keep you busy. Good luck on your nomination.
 Will that mean extra duties?

I think it is the perfect solution for me with two Chihuahuas. They ride
in the seat behind me (so that it is easier with my spine problems than
having to walk around the car and put them in the opposite side) and they are
usually very quiet while I am driving. I come to a stop light/sign they
are barking at the cars and people next to us. When I hear dead silence, I
know that the two of them are sleeping away and very comfy with the extra
blankets and a few toys. They really don’t care where we go, I can just
drive a mile or so to the post office; or I can just drive a quarter of a mile
to drop something off at a neighbor’s house or check that the community
gates are working OK, etc. We get home, the garage door closes and they are
ready to get out and feel like they won the lottery for the day!
It makes me feel better because I have so many doctor appts and meetings
for the HOA, etc. and I keep coming and going and they keep staying!
(OT – Today was opening of the ballots for my internal community…two
seats were open, and two people ran…me and the homeowner who purchased the
very
last house from the builder. No surprise that we both won, but the gal
that has been on the Board of Directors for three years nominated me to be
president again and the new board member seconded it. I have a meeting in
December about the Master Community…landscaping along the perimeter of all
the ‘Riverwalk Ranch’ communities…we will have to vote for seats. I really
want to nominate the gentleman that got the other seat on that one to be
Treasurer because he is a CPA…so I am thinking that t he same gal that
nominated me as president today will nominate me president for the Master
also.
It isn’t a power play because we all try to do everything. I have more
time on my hands (Hehehe…if you take away sleeping, resting, sleeping,
watching TV…LOL) than those that work. We will see what happens.

Anyone have any recommendations for a 'car seat' for a chi? I'd like one
that sits 'up' so she can see out..
Thanks, (again)
