You can give him ½ Tsp PURE PUMPKIN each day. It is even OK to give him every day. It works for both constipation and diarrhea.

Now he has had ONE in almost three days and I'm wondering if anyone has any good ideas about keeping him regular. I put some chia seed in his food this morning and also discovered he likes to eat some dried zuchinni I had dehydrated a couple of years ago - he thinks it's a treat but then he tries to eat paper too! He is VERY quiet - in the week he has been here he has only barked once - a couple of rather weak little yips - he does whine at times in the crate but that's about it. Does this seem unusual? When he is out he WANTS to run around so 4 months of not letting him is going to be difficult but I do have to say he is being very good natured and adaptable about it. The other dogs are getting more used to him slowly. Will try to take a pic and post later on today.
