Can green beans is what I use, I open a small can, rinse them, put them in a
zip lock bag and feed two or three at a time, chopped over his kibble.

When Bittie looks like he is putting on a weight, I feed him green beans. 1/2
kibble and half kibble. Beans are rinsed
before adding to kibble. GB are filling and he LOVES them.

Are you able to throw a toy for him?  That helps.  I also used to slice up
carrots for my dogs and throw them.  The dogs would chase the carrots down the
hallway and get exercise and a treat at the same time.

I hate that my Taylor is overweight.  He is fixed and doesn't get a lot of
exercise because I am somewhat disabled.  I do try.  He does not get any people
food......or very little.
