Just wanted to let you know that the surgery went well and I'm doing good.
Typing with one hand takes forever though. I've attached a pic my mom took
right after surgery. The thing my arm is in is to keep it above my heart and
holds the ice nicely. It comes off and I can put my arm on pillows but its
easier just to keep it in that and I have to sleep in it. My wrist is all
wrapped up in a stint so I can't move it. That will be taken off next week and
a custom brace put on. Not much pain yet but I'm on vicodin and ice on and off
keeps it numb. My fingers are really weak but I have to move them every once in
a while or they fall asleep. Monster has been so sweet. On the ride to my moms
he wanted in my lap and he came up to me real slow, put his paw on my leg and
waited for me to say it was ok and he won't get close to my arm. Then he got up
front with my mom and laid on her shoulder but wouldn't take his eyes off me.
Sometimes he would close one but not the other. That's the second pic.
