A year already!!! I'm doing okay - it was a tough one for me since I lost
my son. His 45th birthday was Thursday and I got through that. Taking in
this little girl is just what I needed - something to love and care for. You
know, we say we're "rescuing" them, but most times I think the humans are
the ones who are "rescued".
There's more to the story of the broken leg; but bless your heart for trying
to see the positive over the negative. This little girl has cheered me up
and will make her new forever family very happy. Hopefully, I don't turn
into a "foster failure" and not be able to let her go. I can definitely see
that happening :)
Take care,
Carolyn

She is a sweetie, the poor baby! I try to think the best of people,
especially in these times with so many people can't afford the extra care
that their dog may need, so I am hoping that was the only excuse that they
had, and that is why they had to give her to a rescue, so that she could get
the care that she needed.

Good for you for stepping up and taking care of her. What is her name?

How have you been Carolyn? I can't believe another year flew by!

Hi,
This is my newest foster. She's two years old and probably weighs about 4
pounds. She's got pins in her leg and will be in rest mode for a couple of
weeks. Her previous owner didn't think a broken leg was worth taking her to
the vet for. Needless to say, it got worse. But she'll be fine in a little
while.
Isn't she cute?
