I think I would too. I can only have two dogs in my community, but if I could have more and decided to foster…I would not be able to give any of them up when they were ready to be adopted. I have a friend in Florida who fosters and she now has nine of her own and usually 3 of 4 fosters. About four or five of her dogs, were her fosters and they just became theirs when one of them really felt a big urge to keep one. I don’t think that I could foster…Dolly would scare them to death with her Gestapo style teaching method…Desi would probably cause the exhaustion with his unending playing time and energy. I really can’t because some days I can’t feed Dolly & Desi without screaming in pain to bend over. That said…thank you to everyone that has fostered, and all those that are currently fostering. I'm doing okay - it was a tough one for me since I lost my son. His 45th birthday was Thursday and I got through that. Taking in this little girl is just what I needed - something to love and care for. You know, we say we're "rescuing" them, but most times I think the humans are the ones who are "rescued".
