When I read it, I thought that you meant in past times…not in the last few
minutes.

Look at the original posting. It came out and I posted my joke with in a few
min. Now how could I have a dog choked to death and a huge vet bill in that few
minutes. Get a life will you.

I am very sorry to hear that. In all my time of raw feeding I have never had a
dog choke or heard of any on our raw forum. Didn't your vet recommend chicken
wings? I vaguely remember hearing that. Wings do pose a choking risk sadly,
also there is a learning curve for kibble fed dogs. Kibble fed dogs typically
gobble and swallow, raw fed must learn to chew. Once again sorry for your loss
:(

Rebecca, I did as you suggested and now have three dogs the choked to death
and a $3000 vet bill.

oh I just can't stay out of trouble today.... so here is my opinion.

Take chicken out of bag, drop it on the floor, watch your babies eat......the
end!

The only caution I would give on cooked meals for your dogs, make sure they are
getting the needed amount of calcium.

My Chi is getting ground today, ground cow, ground chicken bones, with organs
added. You would think all of his christmases and birthdays come at once when
I set his bowl down. Oh and he will take down any Dane who comes too close lol
and they don't press the issue after that. Funny to watch that!

I make what I call doggie stew for my kids. Now I usually use hamburger, but I
have a large amount of frozen chicken drumsticks. I was planning to thaw and
then boil the chicken until the meat falls off the bones. I can use the broth
to flavor my “kids” kibble and then add the meat to my mixed veggies for a kind
of chicken stew. I might even try to see if the cat kids would like some. Got
any advice? Should I add rice or noodles or not?
