Hello: I am a few days and about 500 e-mails behind. Congratulations on your new Chihuahua. Myself live in Westminster, CO but have adopted two chi's from the Springs area. As for the cold, yes it can get cold, I have one Chi who hates it when it is below 70, I have one who could care less and loves it out side when the sun is out. I have a doggie door that goes to the outside pen and my neighbor tells me she see's the one that loves the sun out there just laying in the pen when it cold out. Good luck with your new Chi.
