I totally agree with you Joan. I understand the statements on both sides but 
there's always more than one way to skin a cat. We have had a fairly large herd 
of alpacas for quite a few years now. There are of course, recommended ways of 
training and treatment but - the more animals (of any kind I think)you have and 
the longer you deal with them...the more weird circumstances, diseases, 
situations you will have happen and the more creative you will have to get, the 
more you will really have to pay attention to what they are trying to tell you 
- and the more they will teach you. I'm always listening to them. Fortunately, 
for me and my little pup, I have you all to learn from.
