I know a lot of people here have had small plaques put under a tree in our
town park. All the trees that line the town streets have plaques under them
of beloved ones. At another park they have a paved walkway, and each brick
is inscribed with a loved one's name. It helped people and also help the
town for revenue.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] How do I "celebrate" the one year death of my son? OT

Hi,
My son, David will be gone one year on February 22. I'd like to memorialize
him in a "permanent" way and am asking you what you think I can do. Each
monthly anniversary, I release helium-filled balloons (one with a "love note
stuck inside it), knowing that it will get through the "atmosphere" (!??)
and almost all the way to heaven; then he can reach down and grab it!! In
my mind, it happens...
So, to mark his one year, can you give me suggestions as to how I should
commemorate it?
Thanks so much.
Carolyn
