Hello,
I am asking for advice about a problem we are having with Scout, our 4 year old
Chi. He sleeps and rides in the car in a crate. When we go to get in the car
he happily jumps in the car and goes right into his crate. I am able to close
the door without any reaction from him. If anyone else gets near him when he
is in his crate he acts like he is going to nip them. He does not do that to
me. My husband went to put him in his crate in the car and he balked at the
door and did not want to go in, My husband pushed(gently) him into the crate
and Scout nipped at him. If anyone would stick a finger into his crate he
would probably nip. Other than that he is an angel! Should I have other people
give him treats in the crate? What else would help?
Thanks,
Sue
