Our grand-dog Nina had grade 4 luxation in both knees and had both done at
the same time. They kept her at the vet's for 2 days after the surgery
which I think was a good idea since she was pretty sore after the surgery
as you might imagine. She recovered very well and loves to run and play.
She actually walked on her front legs for the first few days when she went
out to potty. I wish I had it on video! The vet said the most important
thing the vet said was to make sure she never gets overweight because that
is the worst for the knees,
Sue
