Hi Peggy, I apologize for not being in touch! Things have been nuts with work and getting the two little ones! I had actually replied to one of your emails...wrote this big long letter and somehow deleted your email and my reply while sending it! I think I told you that the animal rescue wanted to do a home check before allowing me to adopt Daisy. They came last Friday, to observe Daisy with my Cooper and Dali and to check out where Daisy would sleep and play! Do you believe that? Anyway Cooper was so cute with her, Dali was not quite as friendly but observed from a distance. The foster Mom told me that because Daisy was so nervous and was always hiding and hard to catch, they had to make sure whoever adopted her would be up for the challenge. It went well and Daisy actuallly looked very curious about exploring my fenced yard and running in and out of the house. They said I could come on Saturday and fill out the final paper work and adopt her! Meanwhile, I had gotten a call from the breeder about Aldo and she said that she was having him neutered on Tuesday,(last week) and I could pick him up that night or wait til Saturday. I didn't want to upset him right after surgery by bringing to a strange place, so I opted for Saturday. Sooo....we picked up our two new babies one after the other on Saturday! I haven't stopped since! LOL I am just about to bring them out for potty now and head off to bed, but I promise to fill you in on the adventure of getting them all introduced to each other soon! They are the sweetest babies! Cindy

Hi Katie, I am Cindy. I live in Charleston, SC with my cat Tigger, and now 4 Chi's (2 of which I adopted this weekend!) Cooper, Dali, Aldo & Daisy. (More about that soon!) What an interesting story! It's funny how these little ones who need us come to be put in our paths! I am so happy you and Jo-Jo found each other! Welcome to our group; these folks have helped me so much with their advice and experience. I am sure you will enjoy being here! To: [email protected] Date: Thursday, April 19, 2012, 3:10 AM Sorry, don't know how to post photos. Jo-Jo is way cute, my first chi ever. I have 4 cats, a cavalier king Charles spaniel, and now my little jo-jo. I will ask someone how to post a pic. But in advance, are ripples on a cih's fur common? Believe it or not, I got my baby from a young man in front of a grocery store, he had jo-jo tucked inside his jacket, a very tiny baby. I wanted a chi for so long. The guy said,"Do you want to buy a puppy? Since I had 4 cats and my Cavalier, I said my family would kill me if I brought home another animal. Then the guy brings out this little baby from his jacket. I,m thinking, $300-$400 dollars, which I absolutely did not have to spend on Dec 14. So I ask, "how much? The guy says $40.00. I say, "Don't move, I'll be right back. I go to the ATM in the store, suck out 40 bucks, and bought jo-jo. Believe me, every red flag went up. Is he sick? Is he stolen? I called the PD, I called Animal Control, I watched the newspaper ads. It turned out to be exactly as the young man told me, they were desperate for money to feed their children, they sold the last pup for $40.00. I hope it helped them. Getting j0-jo has brought unbelievable joy in my life. He is so full of life and fun and kisses and love. I do tend to go on and on, but I hope you enjoyed this. --- In [email protected], Raven <iceponygoddess@...> wrote: > > Welcome to the list! Jo-Jo sounds cute.
