EXACTLY!! In almost every case I've studied, the dogs gave CLEAR and consistent signals....the owners failed to heed. You should *never* let a dominant dog sleep on the bed, get on furniture, insist on being petted, etc, etc, etc...I could go on. As I said, in every single case I've studied of a dog "turning" on it's owner, the OWNER was at fault OR the dog had a physiological condition (such as a brain tumor) that caused the attack.
