Glad that it's off. Did they have to use pins, and do they have to stay in or does he go back to have them removed? Most people that I know, had to do therapy exercises to get them to stand on the leg and use it. Some times they have to go in a therapy tub, which they claim speeds up recovery. Don't ya just love it when they snuggle up into a ball on your lap!
So glad you feed raw, LOL!1 -------Original Message------- From: Rebecca Date: 5/1/2012 8:50:04 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Chihuahuas] Diego update He got his cast off today thankfully! And the vet said he looked good and had great range of motion. With the cast on he was walking on it pretty well But I am shocked because now that it's off he won't put any weight on it! I know it's early on in his recovery but I worry...as we all do. It was a relief to see his knee cap snugly in place!!! I feared the cast would come off and it would be off to the side again lol A good side effect from all this, he would NEVER settle in my lap. Now that he has no choice he sleeps there often 8) he is there now, in happy pain pill land lol Rebecca Have I ever mentioned I raw feed??????? Sent from my iPhone
