Pepper and Rascal have quite a bit of black - on their heads (just white muzzles), splotches on their backs and sides, then smaller spots all over. Very little of their bodies are white - where it is lighter, they are freckled. Attached is a pic of Rascal - hopefully it will show what I mean.

Now all I need are a few people that have tri- colors and see if they like the sun or not. So far it seems like all the light colored chis do. It will be interesting to see if color or personality determines it.
